Rueger, Eldor A. Freeland, Michigan
Passed away Thursday evening January 12, 2012 at his home in Freeland at the age of 82 years. Eldor was born January 30, 1929 to the late Andrew and Agnes (Engelhardt) Rueger and has resided in this area all of his life. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Amelith. He was employed at Bay City Chevrolet for many years. Eldor is survived by two brothers; Alfred and Alvin (Judy) Rueger both of Freeland, a sister; Luetta Behmlander of Bay City; three nieces and one nephew, Diane (Rev. John)Wackler and their children, Jonathan, Megan and Abby; Valerie (Steve) Parrish and their children, Tim and Josh; Joanne Behmlander and Cary Behmlander. A brother-in-law; Howard Behmlander has predeceased Eldor.
Funeral and Committal services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday January 17, 2012 at St. John Lutheran Church, Amelith. Rev. Stephen P. Starke will officiate with burial to follow in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Home, 310 E. Washington St., Freeland on Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
