Rena H.L. Rosenbrock

Born: February 15, 1915
Died: November 19, 2012

Rena passed away Monday morning November 19, 2012 at McLaren Bay
Region Medical Center age 97 years. She was born the daughter of the late
Carl and Minnie (Nitschke) Eschenbacher February 15, 1915 in Saginaw
and had resided in Bay County most of her life. She was a member of Grace
Lutheran Church (Auburn) and its Ladies Aid Society. On September 10,
1939 she married Henry P. Rosenbrock, he predeceased her on December
23, 1977. She is survived by 2 daughters; Darlene (Harvey) Rugenstein,
Saginaw, Betty (Peter) Pardel, Midland, a daughter in-law; Rosemary Rosen-
brock, Alpena, 8 grandchildren; Cheryl Rugenstein, Toni (Lewis) Noakes,
Debbie (Demitri) Nikolulis, James (Angie) Rosenbrock, Greg Rugenstein,
Pati (Warren) Weingartz, Randy Rosenbrock, Susan (David) Miller, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 1 brother and 2 sisters; Herb (Geraldine) Eschenbacher, Midland Mildred Voss, Ft. Collins, CO. and Dorothy Parker, San
Diego, CA. Rena was also predeceased by 2 sons; Dale and Darel Rosenbrock,
7 brothers and 1 sister; Lawrence, Harold, Walter, Norman, Carl, William and
Floyd Eschenbacher and Esther Korman.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 24, 2012 at Grace
Lutheran Church (Price & Ruth Sts.) Auburn. Rev. David H. Reed will officiate
with graveside committal services to take place at 1:30 p.m. at Floral Gardens
Cemetery (Bay City). Rena’s family will receive friends at the Auburn Chapel
of the Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. on Friday from 2:00-8:00 p.m.
On Saturday morning Rena will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until
time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy envelopes for Grace
Lutheran Church and the charity of the donor’s choice will be available at the
funeral home.
